Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 1.75 cups Sugar
• 1 cup Butter
• 2 Eggs
• 2 cups Flour
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tsp Nutmeg
• 2 tsps Cinnamon
• 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
• 5 cups Apples (diced)
• 1 cups Walnuts (diced)

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Continue dry ingredients in another bowl and add egg mixture. Sprinkle lemon juice over apples and stir into batter, along with walnuts. Batter will be very thick. Turn into 9x13 buttered baking dish. 350 degrees F for 50-60 min.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

• 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
• 1 stick butter
• 1.5 cup Powdered Sugar
• 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
• 1 tsp. Vanilla

Instructions

Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add Powdered sugar, a little at a time, along with lemon juice and vanilla. Spread liberally on cake.
