Cut Sausage into 1/2 inch slices. Peel off casing if desired. (Optional: cut sausage into fourths.) Chop Onions, Green Onion, Potatoes, and Cabbage. Using olive oil in soup pot, saute sausage until browned. Add onions and green onions. Cook until translucent. Add water and broth. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 15-20 min until potatoes are soft. Lightly mash a few potatoes with potato masher or spoon until soup is slightly thickened (chunks of potatoes should remain visible). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
